How your Farflung passport works
Every right answer stamps a page
Pin a country as a right answer, in the daily expedition or in Farflung Unlimited, and it is stamped on its continent's visa page with the day you first got it. Get the same country again as a rarer answer and the stamp is upgraded to the new marker. A miss never stamps anything, and a country only ever takes one stamp.
The stamp's shape is its marker
- Common: a round stamp, worth 30 to 44 km
- Uncommon: an entry box, worth 45 to 59 km
- Rare: a diamond, worth 60 to 74 km
- Elusive: a double point, worth 75 to 89 km
- Farflung: the tall Farflung blaze, worth 90 to 100 km
The rarer the answer, the rarer the stamp. How rarity is measured.
Six continents, 197 countries
Europe has 46 countries, Asia 48, Africa 54, North America 23, South America 12 and Oceania 14. Each continent has its own visa pages and its own list of countries still to find, so you can see at a glance where your knowledge of the map runs thin.
