By playing Farflung on farflung.online you agree to these terms. They are short because the game is simple and free. Last updated 19 October 2026.

Playing fairly

Play by hand, one expedition per day per person. Don't use bots or scripts to play, don't try to read prompts or answers before they are revealed, and don't overload the service. Pins that look automated may be left out of the rarity counts.

Answers and scores can change

Answer lists come from published data and are corrected when players report gaps. Tiers are refreshed during the day and fixed in a final count after the day ends. Corrections and final counts can raise your distance; they never lower it.

The game as it is

Farflung is provided free and as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available, error-free or unchanged. Prompts, rules and features may change, and the game may pause or end. To the extent the law allows, Farflung is not liable for losses arising from playing or not being able to play.

Content and data

The game's text, design and code belong to Farflung on farflung.online. Country data is used under the licenses listed on the about page. Shared results may be posted anywhere you like.

Independence

Farflung on farflung.online is an independent game and is not affiliated with farflung.game.
